PEARL STORY

THE “PEARL OF GREAT VALUE” STORY

Nikki wanted to do something to help orphan children, but she was only 8 years old.  With the help of her mom she decided to make some bracelets and sell them to her friends, so she sent out an email to everyone she knew and told them about her plan.

Within just a few days she had orders for 36 bracelets, and it just grew from there. To date Nikki has raised over $8,000.  Much of the money came from a cash donation.  Someone was so touched by the story of the deaf boy that would be adopted from this fundraising effort they gave generously.

Much of the adoption work of Home For Good Foundation takes place in the Philippines where pearls are abundant.  It was a natural to come up with additional jewelry pieces centered on the pearl theme.

The poem created for Home For Good Foundation provides inspiration not only for us but for those who purchase a jewelry piece.  Pictures here are the first bracelets and Nikki.
