About Us

In 1996 Gerry and Maureen Clark moved to the Philippines where Gerry served as a bush pilot, flying medical personal to remote islands.  In addition, the Clarks helped wherever they were needed including the mission orphanage.

Their six year journey led them to the understanding that children who find themselves in an orphanage have found much needed help, clothing, food and protection, but the longing for a family weighed heavy and was perhaps the hardest to obtain.  They clearly needed to belong to a family who would love them forever and protect and guide them when their orphanage days ended.

In 2003 Gerry and Maureen Clark believing there was a need for more emphasis on finding families for orphaned and abandoned children, established the Home For Good F oundation, dedicated to helping children find a loving family and a "Home for Good."

We not only promote and support adoption in our own community, but also have a global vision to encourage and equip others to do the same in their own country and community.

"Home For Good Finds" on line store has grown from an earlier fundraising effort by Kellie and Nikkie who made bracelets to help with our first adoption funding.  We still have those bracelets and continue to build the Pearl Of Great Value” design theme based on Mathew 13:45-46…”the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking fine pearls.  Upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had, and brought it.”  The children we serve are like that pearl.  I hope you agree!

Pictured here are some of our volunteers who help keep our expenses low because of their loving sacrifice of their time and talent.

Thank you and God Bless,

Maureen Clark
