Shipping
   
We ship via First Class US Mail.  If a padded mailing envelope is suitable that is what we use, if bubble wrap and Styrofoam is needed, or both an inner box and outer box, then that’s what we will do in order to protect delicate items.

We strongly recommend insurance on all items for the value of purchase.  If you choose to not insure your items we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in shipment. 

If you prefer an alternate carrier, please indicate that in a special e-mail communication.

 

 Returns and Exchanges
 
We are a non-profit organization with a passion for excellence.  We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph each item in order to help you make an informed buying decision.  We make every effort to get the transaction right the first time.  If we do make a mistake we will work hard to make it right as fast as we can.  We do not work on the weekends and because we are on the west coast be sure to notice that our hours may differ from yours.  We are checking the computer daily during the hours of 9 am to 5 pm Pacific Time.


For the most part all sales are final but we are willing to consider returns on a case by case basis just in case there has been some miscommunication.  We realize shipping is expensive and it’s best if you get what you want the first try. Please notify us immediately upon receipt of your item to discuss returns.


If you change your mind about an item and wish to exchange it for another, the same policy applies:  it must be returned (Priority Mail Insured at your expense) within 5 days of receipt, unused and in the same condition in which it was sent.  The full cost of purchase (less original shipping cost) will be applied to the purchase of the other item(s).  Shipping will then be added for the new item.

Age and Condition

Age of the item:  Whenever possible I will list the country of origin and the approximate age of the piece.  We cannot say for sure that an item is authentic because we are not appraisers and cannot guarantee the age and authenticity of an item.  We will tell you what we can, and you are welcome to ask questions so that you can make intelligent and informed decisions.  You can take it from there.  We will also see that the item is put on hold for you while we are going over such details.


When it comes to silver or silver plate, we polish it with a cream type polish just enough to be able to photograph so that you can see if there are any flaws, scratches or other significant markings.  We leave the rest alone.  Once again, please ask questions about the piece you have chosen.

Payment Options

We accept electronic payments through PayPal, which allows you to use your Visa, Discover, American Express or MasterCard. If you have never used PayPal before you may click here to connect to their website to register. 
In addition, we accept money orders, cashier's checks and personal checks.  If you pay with a personal check, we will not ship your package until the check clears the bank.

Privacy

We value your business and will always protect our customer's private information. We do not give or sell contact information to any third party marketer for any purpose.

Shipping

Orders are shipped out within 1 to 3 business days via USPS, unless you choose RUSH shipping.
